The team behind the TV anime adaptation of Kengo Hanazawa’s “Under Ninja” manga has unveiled a main promotional video, a fresh visual, introduced a new cast member, revealed the opening theme artist, and announced the premiere date of October 5th.

The manga, published in English by Denpa, is described as follows:

In the aftermath of World War II, the Allied Command in Japan established a unique agency to combat terrorism and violence in the Pacific region. This agency was staffed with highly skilled ninja initially assigned to handle domestic matters. Over time, it evolved into a sophisticated organization overseeing 20,000 ninja engaged in various domestic and international missions. Among these ninja is Kurō, a seventeen-year-old high school outcast, now thrust into the role of safeguarding Tokyo against a potential wave of foreign assassins.
