The perpetrators, five men, including a member of the Civil Guard and another from the Spanish Army in Seville, recorded themselves viciously assaulting the victim in the vestibule of an apartment building. Dubbed “La Manada,” which translates to “The Pack” in Spanish, they initially evaded sexual aggression charges but were convicted of sexual abuse due to the prosecution’s inability to prove the use of explicit violence against the victim.
