Directed by Janeen Damian, “Irish Wish” revolves around Lohan’s character, Maddie, who grapples with a whirlwind of emotions as she witnesses her best friend tying the knot with the man she believes is her soulmate. Amidst the wedding festivities, Maddie impulsively makes a wish that sets in motion a chain of events that will alter the trajectory of her life forever.

So, without further delay, here’s everything you need to know about the charming new rom-com, “Irish Wish.”

The trailer opens with Maddie (Lohan) and James (Ed Speelers) sharing what appears to be a flirtatious exchange aboard a bus. When Maddie mentions she’s en route to a wedding, James assumes she’s the bride, leading to a bittersweet revelation that it’s her best friend Heather (Ayesha Curry) who’s walking down the aisle.

In a subsequent scene, Maddie confides in her mother about an enigmatic desire to marry Paul Kennedy (Alexander Vlahos), Heather’s fiancĂ©. To her surprise, the next morning finds Maddie waking up next to Paul, seemingly fulfilling her wish. However, as time unfolds, Maddie begins to question whether her heart truly belongs to Paul or if it’s someone entirely unexpected—a chance encounter on that very bus.

Joining Lohan in this St. Patrick’s Day treat are stellar actors such as Ed Speelers as James Thomas, Alexander Vlahos as Paul Kennedy, and Ayesha Curry as Maddie’s best friend, Heather. The ensemble also features Elizabeth Tan as Emma Taylor, Jacinta Mulcahy as Olivia Kennedy, and Jane Seymour as Rosemary Kelly.

Behind the scenes, the cast and crew had a blast filming “Irish Wish,” with Lohan herself expressing her excitement over the camaraderie shared on set. Director Janeene Damian, following her debut with “Falling for Christmas,” delivers another delightful rom-com, backed by producers Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian. Krevoy, a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of Motion Pictures of America, and Damian, known for his role in “The Young and the Restless,” bring their expertise to the table.

Penned by Kirsten Hansen, a talented writer renowned for her work on projects like “Chesapeake Shores” and “Cross Country Christmas,” “Irish Wish” promises to be a heartwarming journey of love, laughter, and serendipity.

And for fans eager for more Lohan magic, fret not! Netflix recently announced her starring role in the upcoming Christmas movie, “Our Little Secret.”
