I’m quite disheartened by some of the reviews, especially the one with a rating of 4 (though no hard feelings, haha). Why expect perfection from characters? Isn’t it more fulfilling when they undergo growth and development? I find it fascinating to witness characters evolve into someone worthy of admiration, as it feels like I’m growing and learning alongside them. We all have different opinions, but criticizing a character simply because they don’t meet certain expectations seems rather shallow when exploring a literary work. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Here’s my take on the manga:

A delightful romance shoujo manga

The dynamic between Hananoi Saki and Hinase Hotaru is captivating

The art style is exceptional, with intricate details that are simply perfect

The plot is engaging and exceeded my relationship expectations

It strikes a balance between surrealism and realism, with characters who feel like genuine people you might encounter in real life πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

The dialogues and internal monologues are exceptionally well-written, providing insights into characters’ thoughts and emotions

The plot twists are mind-blowing, offering subtle foreshadowing but still managing to surprise and shock.

The characters aren’t portrayed as perfect, each having their own significant flaws that hinder their everyday lives. However, it’s their development throughout the story that kept me hooked and eager for more! Here’s a breakdown of the main characters:

  • Hananoi-kun is eccentric and aloof, initially coming off as weird. However, as the story unfolds, his flaws and complexities make him a compelling character. He’s the type of person who might be too much for some to handle, but his journey is intriguing to follow.
  • Hotaru-chan is also quirky, but her kindness and selflessness shine through. She’s a sheltered girl with a small circle of friends, yet she attracts genuine connections. Her growth and resilience are admirable, making her a character worth rooting for.

The relationship depicted is one you’d long for, but realistically rare. The fluffy moments are heartwarming, leaving an everlasting impression.

Highly recommended for fans of fluffy romance shoujo manga! It’s truly an enjoyable read that will tug at your heartstrings.

P.S. The character development, especially how they become better versions of themselves through their relationship, is what makes this manga a masterpiece in my eyes. Growing alongside the right partner is truly a beautiful journey. I adore the pairing, and I hope you do too! Happy reading!
