Netflix has released a teaser trailer for “Supers3x,” a series inspired by the life of renowned porn star Rocco Siffredi, set to debut at the Berlin Film Festival and stream on March 6.
In the teaser, amidst a flurry of fans and paparazzi, a voiceover muses, “Every power is an enigma. It can give you light, or throw you into darkness. But every existence lived to its fullest always has a price to pay.”
The series delves into the transformation of Rocco Tano, a simple man from Ortona, Italy, into Rocco Siffredi, the world’s most famous porn star, as outlined in its official synopsis.
Created and written by acclaimed Italian screenwriter Francesca Manieri (“We Are Who We Are,” “L’Immensità”), known for her feminist works, “Supers3x” is eagerly anticipated.
At its core, the series, produced by Lorenzo Mieli’s The Apartment and Groenlandia (part of the Banijay group), intertwines real and fictional elements of Siffredi’s life, with Italian star Alessandro Borghi (“The Eight Mountains”) portraying the lead role.
Joining Borghi are Jasmine Trinca (“Honey”) as Lucia, a composite character representing significant women in Siffredi’s life, Adriano Giannini (“Adagio”) as Tommaso, Rocco’s half-brother, and Saul Nanni (“Love & Gelato”) as the young Rocco. The ensemble cast also includes Enrico Borello, Vincenzo Nemolato, Gaia Messerklinger as Italian porn star Moana Pozzi, Jade Pedri, and Linda Caridi (“Last Night of Amore”).
