In a whirl of light and smoke, Min-ah undergoes a bizarre transformation, emerging as a singular chicken nugget.

But the chaos doesn’t stop there. To add to the mayhem, Min-ah is none other than the daughter of Sun-man (played by Ryu Seung-ryong), the president of All Machines – the very company responsible for the contraption that turned her into a nugget. Faced with this otherworldly predicament, Sun-man reluctantly teams up with intern Go Baek-joong (Ahn Jae-hong), who coincidentally harbors feelings for Min-ah. Together, they embark on a mission to reverse the unusual transformation, unraveling unexpected secrets along the way.

Join the uproarious journey as two men navigate the challenges of rescuing their lover/daughter from her poultry predicament. Without further ado, here’s everything we know so far about “Chicken Nugget.”

The trailer for “Chicken Nugget” wastes no time plunging viewers into the chaos, immediately immersing them in frantic scenes as Sun-man and Baek-joong gaze incredulously at a solitary chicken nugget resting in their hands. But the absurdity doesn’t end there. This nugget happens to be Sun-man’s daughter, Min-ah, who, in a bizarre twist, finds herself transformed after encountering the mysterious machine.

Stunned by her sudden metamorphosis, the duo scramble to find a way to restore Min-ah to her human form while grappling with the surreal situation. Who better than Sun-man and Baek-joong to rescue Min-ah from this bizarre turn of events? Despite their rocky relationship, the mismatched pair must set aside their differences and join forces before time runs out. As each moment passes, they realize they have no choice but to collaborate if they want to save Min-ah.

Ryu Seung-ryong portrays Choi Sun-man, a determined father hell-bent on returning his daughter to her human form. Beginning his career in theater, Ryu has since become one of Korea’s most distinguished actors, starring in blockbuster films like “Miracle in Cell No. 7” and “The Admiral: Roaring Currents.”

Kim You-jung shines as Choi Min-ah, the unfortunate soul transformed into a chicken nugget. Making her debut as a child actress, You-jung quickly rose to prominence with roles in series like “Dong Yi” and “Golden Rainbow.”

Additionally, “Chicken Nugget” features a cameo appearance from Jung Ho-yeon, known globally for her breakout role in “Squid Game,” which earned her critical acclaim and prestigious awards. Ho-yeon is also involved in A24’s upcoming project “The Governess,” currently in development.
